57 Series Coalescing Aluminum Filters
Our high efficiency coalescing compressed air & gas filters are designed for versatility. They are 100% machined, completely anodized, one-piece bowl, and a captured Buna-N O-Ring.
Our C grade element is constructed of two layers of borosilicate microfiber. The first (inner layer) is comprised of very fine fiber and is more densely packed to capture microscopic aerosols. The outer layer is made up of slightly larger fibers which allow the captured liquids to pass through th depth of the wall and drain off the filter element.
Coalescing elements should always flow from the inside to the outside of the element so that proper draining of liquids can occur. These elements will simultaneously collect particulates.
Our CS Grade elements (95% removal against 0.01 micron) are designed for high temperature coalescing applications good to 900°F. Excellent for heavy coalescing. These elements mimic the C grade, only with a silica binder rather than a PVDF one.
The Flow Rates are based upon our 70CS grade disposable coalescing elements in SCFM @ 100 PSIG with an initial 2 PSID. The 70CS elements are rated at 95% removal against 0.01 microns.
Aluminum Air Filters
Our versatile coalescing filters have been designed for both compressed air and gas filtration. These 100% machined, high-efficiency filters are completely anodized — or coated with an oxide layer — to ensure the highest quality and protection. They also come with a one-piece bowl and captured Buna-N O-Ring to provide resistance from abrasions and tears.
The C-grade element features two layers of borosilicate microfiber. The inner layer; densely packed with a fine fiber to trap microscopic aerosols, while the outer layer strains and drains captured liquids through the filter wall. Together, the two components act as an air and oil separator.

Though these elements resemble the C-grade, they feature a silica binder instead of a Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) binder. Silica binders have greater reactivity and a high surface area, making them effective stiffeners in high temperatures.
